During the Holidays, many people feel difficult emotions such as stress, isolation and depression. Swedish massage can help relax tight muscles and reduce pain. A massage also stimulates the release of endorphins, serotonin and dopamine which are positive hormones that reduce stress and increase relaxation. Reducing stress and increasing mental relaxation can help to further reduce pain.

Massage therapy is not covered under the Nova Scotia Health Plan. If you are not insured and would like to experience the benefits of Swedish massage for relaxation come see us. Our provider is a graduate of Massage Therapy (2200 hour) program, but is not a registered therapist in Nova Scotia. She is offering to give back during the month of December in an attempt to help those beat holiday stress.
