3 massage parlors allegedly involved in prostitution operations; 7 suspects charged - KSLA

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - VICE officers conducted search warrants after complaints about massage parlors in Shreveport.

On May 30, the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) vice unit conducted an operation targeting massage parlors in Shreveport. The operation was started in response to several complaints received regarding the activities at the massage parlors.

VICE agents executed three search warrants at the following locations:​

• China Spa - 8939 Jewella Avenue
• Li’s Spa - 9435 Mansfield Road
• Kars Spa - 6039 Five Oaks Boulevard

Seven suspects arrested for prostitution charges:​

• Wei Xiangl, 37
• Yang Shie, 49
• Liu Xia, 52
• Xie Fang, 49
• Youyu Hu, 50
• Ernest Hight, 52
• Li Qing, 47

SPD seized significant money from these businesses, which may be subject to forfeiture upon these convictions.

“The Shreveport Police Department is dedicated to maintaining the safety and well-being of our community. This operation is part of our ongoing efforts to combat illegal activities and enforce the law,” says SPD. “Further information regarding the results of these searches and any subsequent actions will be made available as the investigation progresses.”

“We appreciate the community’s support and encourage citizens to continue reporting any suspicious activities,” asks SPD.
