One night I went to Club Dynasty because I wanted an actual massage and at that time of night it was one of the few places where I can get one. Well I went in and had a great massage and the girl in the waiting area in the back was friendly as always.
I went to the desk at the front door on my way out to pay for the massage. Then the girl at the front door asks me how much I'd like to leave for a tip. I tell her and reach for the cash. All of a sudden she becomes really bitchy and says "You're giving how much??? How come you promised the girl XX dollars???"
I was thinking to myself, WTF??? And without even thinking I blurted back, "XX DOLLARS?!?!?! I told her (the girl who gave me the massage) I would pay "BB" dollars and we both agreed to that."
The girl at the front then starts making random remarks. First she starts talking about how this isn't the first time I came there and should remember how the tips work. I remarked, "why would I tip that much money for a single session massage? That's more tip that I would leave even for a double session!"
Then the girl at the front door ends up going on about how this isn't the first time I told a girl I'd give her a certain amount and then didn't pay it. I was in shock and just rolled my eyes. She ends up picking up the phone and yelling back in Chinese. I'm just thinking to myself, "What the fuck did I get myself into? I came for a massage... got a great one and now I'm getting into this huge argument with this bitch".
I was expecting it to get even worse as she continued yelling on the phone saying who knows what. But I just stood firm and she ended up just giving me the receipt like usual and I walked out with her still yelling away on the phone.
If I caved into her I would have ended up paying more in tips than I would have for the massage itself. And I literally got just a massage. So just be careful they don't try and pull a fast one on you.
