being danish too i can add that the price of an all nighter in prague at a club (sp or dessert and similar places) costs approx. the same as 1 hour in a danish private!!

usually i go by train (direct connection) to praha as its the easiest from where in denmark i live its a bit more expensive, but its a really beautiful trip going through the erzgebirge mountains along the elbe/labe and later the moldau/vltava rivers from Dresden to Praha

there are many ways to save lots of money in praha..... use hotels outside the centrum (i pay around 1000 czk for a single room at a 3 star hotel - depending on season)..... buy your self a 7 day ticket to the public transport, dont buy single tickets and dont use taxis.... never visit restaurants in the tourist areas - esp: karlova, vac.nam., stara radnice, and the castle - instead buy yourself a sandwich from tesco... follow these suggestions and you acctually after 3 days you have saved enough money for 2x1 hour at the cheaper clubs (sp, dessert and the likes)

The value of the US dollar was intentionally driven down in an effort to make American products and services more attractive from a cost perspective. This ain't because Bush is stupid, or because America is kicking some other country's ass; it just makes good economic sense. The flip side is that stuff in other countries now costs us here in America more to buy them. Also, the EU threatened to initiate measures to stop the decline of the value of the dollar against the Euro since it puts the costs of their goods and services at a competitive disadvantage on the world market.

So, technically, the lower the value of the dollar, the better it is for our economy.

However, it also means the cost of foreign pussy is just going through the damn roof!

Well, I have to say that I'm not exactly sure of the US price, but my "friend" tells me they charge about $150 just to show up and then about another $400 for the deed. So, around $500 or so. But that's in a country with ten times the average income of Eastern europe.

And I agree that $500 for twelve solid hours of no holds barred poontangin' ain't so bad, but I suspect the lion's share of that would be spent with her sleeping and swatting you away if you tried to rouse her long enough to stick your dick in her ass. Could be wrong, there, of course.

Seems there are lots of perspectives, from how much we are willing to spend, to how much the girls should make based on averages and such. But what about the perspective of how much you'd pay if you were somewhere else?! I think that amount is quite accurate. Keep in mind, there is very little "average" or middle class in the former Soviet countries. Mafia types slew the "average" by making millions in criminal endeavors whilst the everyday people make very little. Pretty much no middle class.

And I'm not trying to say "shame" on anyone. What I am trying to say is I, personaly, am not willing to pay that much for these women. That is my own comfort level and, again, other folks may have an entirely different price range that they consider reasonable. You see, in America, we suffer and work our asses off for money. We put in more hours per year working than any other developed country on the planet, including Japan. Hardly any holidays off, maybe two weeks vacation a year that usually gets eaten up by "sick" days, etc., etc..

And, no, I ain't proud of that! I think it absolutely sucks and there is currently a backlash here over working your life away so you can maybe have a few years of retirement to stagger around before you croak.

So, that is where my mindset comes from and why I feel shelling out that much money for some booty is offensive to me. Additionally, that is exactly why I am here on this forum; to find out where you can get the most bang for your buck, if you'll pardon the pun! I blame the German mongers who came in the early nineties.
I 1999, one hour was 2500 ckr at a club, in 2006 it is the same.

One thing that has changed is the value of the dollar.
I am Danish, so for me the Chech Crown has increased its value with about 15 %, at the same time the US dollar has dropped at least 20 %.
For Americans this must hurt, but we can't blame the working girls of Prague for the declining dollar.

If I was American, Prague wouldn't be my first choice.
You have to spend many hours on a plane anyway, so places like Thailand, Brazil, the Phillipines or the Dom Rep would be obviuos choices to consider before Prague.
Also the Czechs arn't as poor as Borat from Kazakstan.
Infact most Czechs are not happy being called Eastern Europeans.
They consider themselves Central Europeans, with good reason since Prague is more or less the geographical center of Europe.

I know one of the cardinal sins is to compare prices from your home country to prices abroad, but for Europeans you can actually do that with Prague.
First of all nobody in Europe has more that a 3 hour flight to Prague, for a Dane it takes 75 minuttes.
Also the European airlines are competing heavily on their prices so today a return ticket from Copenhagen to Prague can cost as little as 70 USD all included.
In other words going to Prague is not very time consuming and the price is low.
So who really cares what the locals make?

People living in Holland, Belgium and Germany can find compatible prices at home in various clubs.
But people from Denmark can really benefit from going to Prague.
The prices in Danish privates are bad, in clubs the price is crazy and for a 12 hour escort the prise is insane.
The price for a 12 hours escort is 12000-20000 Danish kroner.

Two 12 hour escorts 910 USD.
And the rest 300 USD for food, drinks and whatever.

I leave friday afternoon and return Sunday afternoon.
It takes little time to get there and little time to return, its like I never left home at all.

Obviously you don't go Czech rep for a month, the way you go to Thailand, but for the occasional weekend getaway Prague is pretty nice.

Instead I would go by bus on thursday morning and return on sunday night.
I would stay at hotel city centre which is a stone trow away from Marriot.
This would get me an ekstra night in Prague and would only cost me 350 USD for transport and hotel.

I believe the average wage in Czech Republic is about US$200 pw and there are some good opportunities, plenty of work and the Euro coming up that will make life more expensive soon in Prague.

I earn plenty in sunny Oz, and our exchange rate is 0.77 = US$1 so it goes pretty well. To my view, from extensive international travel and mongering, Prague is good value, not cheap and the girls are good looking. You may not think so and that is your call.

My experience is that people from the USA have a slightly differing viewpoint on some things (I employ poeple in the US btw). Europeans and Americans will probably never agree on some things and your average American can go to S America or the Phillipines for some low cost fun.
