Any MPAs On The site want to weigh in on their regular routine in regards to staying std safe.

Do any of you have regular std check ups? Are any of you worried about HIV, Herpes and any other std?

For the ones offering CIM, do you find that risky or not?

What do the women on here have to say?

Being an MPA is my side gig, but I’m a well known independent SP and I get tested every month including blood tests and throat swabs. Statistically you’re more likely to catch something from a civilian at a bar. Our income relies on us being healthy so we are pretty adamant on our sexual health, I’ve been in the industry of both being an SP and MPA for about two and a half years and have never caught anything. But as a client it is your responsibility to get tested frequently as well, there are many anonymous clinics throughout the GTA.

anallover, don't you worry much about others. There is not much you can do. Just play safe, look after yourself and check regularly because some of them have no symptoms and you don't even know you are carrying them. I did at least twice a yr.
BTW.. if your handle is what you mean, you need more frequent check ups, cuz anal sex is more dangerous than any other sexual activities.

I would never even CONSIDER offering something such at bbfs, that is not only dangerous for the ladies but also the clients AND the other ladies the clients see. There is an upswing in clientele asking for this service which for me is an instant block, even if I decline he has probably done it with other SWs which puts me and my business at risk if I get sick.

No disrespect but who’s stats are you referring to? The sheer numbers that a sex worker sees relative to a civilian makes this statement nonsense. I’d be much more concerned if a condom broke with a sex worker than a civilian.
Bbfs though with any stranger is Russian roulette, and how many times one gets tested is absolutely irrelevant. Getting tested does not provide protection obviously!

I understand the general risk level may be somewhat statistically lower, but given all the STI risks that exist nonetheless for BBBJs how do you think SWs rationalize in their own minds what has become such a pervasive and accepted practice amongst the wide range of women voluntarily offering the service? Likewise DFK, etc.

I'm interested to know from both a client and SW perspective why they view BBFS as such a psychotically risky proposition but simultaneously seem comparatively unconcerned about pretty much everything else.

Will update once I find the study I’m at work, as someone in there early 20’s bare back is highly more acceptable and prevalent and accepted in the bar scene currently and STIs are merely laughed at. Sure there the number of sexual encounters, but we’re are also very aware of what to look for and how to properly use protection to protect ourselves and others. I would disagree with the testing aspect because if someone say only got tested every three months or so and tested positive for an antibiotic cured STI there is more chance of spreading it around more, both client and provider

The industry is very oversaturated at this point, with girls undercutting and offering additional services which pressures other girls in the industry. Bbbj is a lot less risky than bbfs even not taking consideration of the possibility of pregnancy. DFK there is the risk of herpes (cold sores) but there needs to be an active breakout for that to transmit aswell, I wouldn’t go near someone face if they seemingly even have a pimple on their lip.

It freaks you out she doesn’t shower between clients...which does little to nothing to protect against an sti. Yet it doesn’t freak you out there’s a strong possibility you can get hiv from your stupid actions. Wow.

Any exchange of body fluids carries a risk, some more than others. Each one of us makes that decision as to how much risk we are willing to take.
I would say though that without definitive proof that the MPA is clean of STIs, you are placing a lot of faith in someone who makes a living by telling you basically a package of fabrications, exaggerations, fantasies and lies.
It is sex work after all.

I think you’re making certain assumptions here that are mistaken. Appears there are many in your industry engaging in bbfs. Personally I’ve never taken the risk with a sex worker, or civilian I was not in a committed relationship with.
I stick to my original statement though and would much prefer a condom break with a civilian over a sex worker. You are correct though in that just because someone’s a civilian doesn’t make it safe, yet the sheer number of partners a sex worker sees makes whatever study you’re referring to bogus in my mind.

We’re obviously comparing different demographics then, if I see 2-3 screened clients a week I am definitely on the lower spectrum. And also there should be no reason for a condom to break if used properly and the sizing correct.
