Pls bear in mind this is one of the old thread I have posted about 5 yrs ago with a few more additional spas at the bottom . I haven't been back to a few of them for quite a while now so some spas might have been renovated and sp on..

Asian Holistic Spas rating
I came up with an idea of rating Asian spas by their appearance, location, cleanliness after visiting Super Relaxing spa yesterday. I think it might be very helpful for those who have good hygiene in mind. I will start with the only places I have been to since I came back into MP scene about 6 months or so ago.

Pls bear in mind, we are talking about Asian Holistic spas and Asian Holistic spas only and all about the facility. Not about the girls nor the services. My ratings are as follows by order of my taste and the cleanliness..

(1) Super Relaxing spa....conveniently located near 401 at Kennedy, very clean with one ensuite shower. Even the common shower room has marble looks wall to wall tiles with fancy shower curtains which makes you feel like you are in a high end spa. Big mirrors on wall is a plus to watch your own performance. Give them a 4 1/2 stars.

(2) Only One Spa.............Easy acess from DVP at Lawrence, nice clean rooms with ensuite showers. 4 stars.

(3) Oriental spa.............. Lawrence at Pharmacy. Very well maintained, very very clean, shiny floors and spotless shower room. Owner takes pride in cleanliness. 4 stars.

(4) Refresh spa................Easy acess with subway and buses, close to 401, All rooms with ensuite showers even tho rooms are a bit small. The lighting is too dim to inspect the cleanliness of showers. Back entrance and table shower is a plus. 3 1/2 stars.

(5) Asia Studios............. Warden and sheppard . easy acess from 401. Discrete entrance, nice clean place . 3 stars

(6) Tulip spa................. Kennedy and Finch in a little plaza with back parking and entrance. Nice and clean. 3 stars.

(7) Kawaii spa............... Yonge and Welsely, nice and clean with big mirrors on wall. Rooms are too small. Common shower room is so so. 3 stars

(8) Melody Wellness...... DVP at lawrence, decent place, but nothing special and hanged dry towels. Smelly MPA lounge room. 2 1/2 stars

(9) Green Leaf spa......... McNicol and Middlefield, nice enough room with ensuite shower, nothing special, Table shower is a plus. 2 1/2 stars

(10) aLegend spa............Sheppard at Brimley, nothing speacial , just acceptable. 2 1/2 stars

(11) First Spring spa, ......Sheppard at Midland. just another so so spa , clean enough rooms, but shower room needs to be looked after. a little smell from next door restaurant. 2 1/2 stars

(12) Diamonds................ Kennedy and Finch, clean decent rooms, lots of fluffy towels, but not very fond of the way the showers are set up. 2 1/2 stars

(13) Happy Happy...............Pharmacy at McNicol, the entrance door is a big minus. The rooms are ok, but showers need attention and sanitization. The floor in the shower room is filthy and need to have slippers on. 2 stars

(14) Pacific spa.................Kennedy at Steele. entrance door problem again, the place and the shower needs reno. The smell in the hallways and rooms are pretty bad sometimes. Needs heavy sanitization. 2 stars

(15) Alice spa..................Steele at Brimley, Nice clean roomy place with nice common shower room, but using small bed sheets which does not cover the table is a big minus for hygiene. 2 stars

(16) Angel spa............. Victoria Park at Finch, one of the busiest and worst spa I have ever been to with ladies have no time to clean themselves in btwn clients. The worst place in hygiene wise. Stains and curly hairs on table. small bed sheet not big enough to cover stain marks on table edges. Ewww! 1/2 star


There are 3-4 more spas i had visited but forgot what the names and what they look like. Most of them are not memeorable ones.

Here are a few more I have left out and some recent ones

Withme spa..... Sheppard at Brimley. Very clean well maintained. Hard wood floors and a common shower in the hall way. The bigger room on right hand side beside the shower room has a coffee table and chairs which was a nice touch. 3 and a half stars.

1spa........ 668 Silver Star blvd at Kennedy and Steeles. The place is clean enough but the rooms are way too small and the shower door was broken and the room could be a problem for big guys. 2 stars.

Yi Ren spa.....located near Midland and Finch plaza. The rooms are ok but the shower room was not maintained well with a disgusting floor mat when I was there. One lady told me the owner is cheap and sometimes re use the towels without washing them. one and a half to two stars.

I know this is way too much to ask of you. But can you also expand on this excellent post and include ratings of the girls and services? Because a 5 star facility with 2 star girls/services will probably result in only a three star "overall" rating. Yet a 3 star facility with 5 star girls/services will probably result in a 4 star overall rating.

By the way, when I was at Asia Studios a few months ago, undercover police came up to the place just as I was starting to have fun, but the gal spotted the cops and we immediately got dressed. I got spooked and have not returned since.

People have to understand that Asian culture is different. You can't go to an Asian place and expect Italian-style cleanliness. Guys, if you are worried so much about appearence and cleanliness, go to spas run by Caucasions. I never care about cleanliness. If I am going to be with an Asian, I just expect the accomodations to be sub-par. I don't go to a vergetarian restaurant and become upset when they don't offer me steak. I don't watch an Indian movie and become upset when the girl starts to sing behind a tree as her male lover is chasing her. I expect that stuff.

I would give holiday spa an upgrade to B+ Since the new management , the place is clean , so are the showers . Place smells clean and so are the girls lol. Lots of new and standbys from the past. Girls from lulu spa also work there.

That review was 5 yrs ago and they have some super stars like Ivy, simulation Mish specialist Jennifer and Korean Cherry in those days. After the ownership changed everything went down Hills.
