Sorry you got hsv2. Hopefully the valtrex will help and ask your doctor for suppressive medication. i hope you got it swabbed and actually tested to confirm it is hsv2 and not something else.

it is also possible you had herpes and now the virus became active. many people are carriers and do not know.

Most of the tests for herpes don’t really work. If she has it, it likely won’t pop up on a blood test. Pretty sure there’s no urine test. But she was so confident in posting it and now is backing out. Strange but also makes sense that people will guard their medical info. But why offer in the first place? The plot thickens.
