Beaver creek versus Richmond Hill council

Now I don't want to create the wrong impression. To be really clear, I am not the morality police (quite the opposite) and I do not want anything to change. But I am very curious about the whole East Beaver Creek situation. It appears to be the closest we have to a red light district, with some legit exceptions. Which is rather funny in a prudish province like Ontario. Is the Richmond Hill city counsil just incredibly naive, or is it just condoned, or does some money change hands behind the scenes, because I cannot recall any checks being made ever. Moderators, I don't want to stir things up, so if this is a controversial topic, no offense if removed.

Yes that is why I added a comment to the moderators, just in case. Because this forum is a triple edged sword. It gives us a means to share valuable information, it tells spa owners what their girls are doing (for this reason I rarely mention names) and it tells law enforcement what is happening where.

Yes agreed, it's all relative. I am sure Americans find Canada a slice of heaven. Coming from Europe, we've grown up with a more relaxed attitude.
