can a chiropractor issue a light duty chit?

There is a 6 mile hump on friday with my unit and I have been going to a chiropractor for a while now but my gunny says it doesnt matter if I say my back hurts because I don't have a light duty chit. Can the Chiro issue a light duty chit or is there something else I would be able to do so I dont further injure myself? (USMC)
the reason I go to the chiro is for my hip several joints in my back dont move like they are supposed to and I have limited mobility and my gunny knows it.

1st think about drinking maybe a little bit more water, but I dunno, i dont want to make this sound like a chatroom, but in the army when you're on Light duty profile, they can even make you do sprints and situps, just not carry a (example given desk). Yous hould get everything exactly in writing, that he checks off the box 'No formation marching'
