Can anyone help my friend in Croydon?

Hi all
I have a good friend (a man - but it's a platonic friendship!) who is a coach driver. He's 60 and recently has been having pain in one side of his neck. He recognises that this is down to driving tension (probably) and is looking for a therapist of some kind who won't cost the earth, somewhere near Croydon. He agrees that complementary therapy of some description would probably be better than a GP prescribing painkillers and is open to suggestions. I thought perhaps remedial sports massage or chiropractic. (he visited a chiropractor once who charged him £100 and did him no good but I've convinced him there are some good ones out there.) He doesn't have a lot of money so can't afford an expensive therapist. Can any of you nice HP people suggest someone who might be able to help him, please?

my choice of poison was osteopathy and i went to the Surrey Osteopathy College based at NESCOT in epsom, well croydon side of epsom.

you get a 4th year student who is thoroughly overseen by a qualified osteopath. i think you probably get even better attention and certainly longer. it was £18 a treatment, or £13 if you werent earning or on part time pay.
