As a member of the NATIONAL SOCIALIST PARTY (That's National Socialist not National Capitalist or National Fascist Party), the socialist introduced socialized medicine to Germany (very effective when used for killing people, but not so good when it came to curing people -----know anyone who has ever gone to Germany for medical treatment?) as well as gun control. Do liberals admire him deep down b/c he introduced these two socialist policies to Germany?

First off, I don't believe the liberals admire Hitler. Yes, the medicine is socialized, but the quality of care is good. Thirdly, there are plenty of people who travel to Germany for medical procedures. You should do your homework before you ask such an ignorant question. As a conservative, I can say that your ridiculous argument is a flop, and that you don't reflect my views. I've been living in Germany since 1997, so I know what I'm talking about, unlike you.

Notice how he contradicted the name of his party by acting like a FASCIST, and pretty much setting the modern standard for fascism.

The name of the Nazi party was designed to appeal to everybody - the national part to the right wingers that wanted a powerful Germany again and the socialist part to the workers that wanted better rights and conditions.

It was a purely pragmatic name designed for one purpose - to get power for the Nazi party.


In fact, the German people of the time were pleased with Hitler's actions - he was giving them what they wanted. At the same time, he was also making Germany a more stable state - by reducing the number of guns available he managed to cut violent crime, which made the people safer and at the same time more friendly to him, and by "socializing" medicine he was able to extend healthcare to all - which again was mutually beneficial, because the people had access to healthcare easily and Hitler had more healthy people to fight in his armies or work in his weapons factories.

The corellary is that this usually causes a chain reaction as everyone begins to reply in kind, and any intelligent debate still remaining will get pushed aside by increasingly strident and vicious mudslinging.

The real lesson to be taken from the law is that it is senseless to continue a stalemated argument between two irreconcilable positions unless you can bring something new to the discussion.
