Do women actually get aroused in chat rooms or private chats?

I am female and my roommate is male and new to chat rooms. He is convinced that women are really physically aroused when they discuss sex over the internet.
I have 'talked' sexually before in chat rooms but never get physically aroused as I believe men do.
Be honest girls and women, does this really 'do' anything for you.?
Maybe somethings wrong with me but it doesn't really even excite me when I see nudity, let alone cybersex.

Honestly, no, it doesn't do anything for me. I'm better off thinking by myself with no internet 'enhancement' of any sort. Nothing's wrong with you, it's just not your style. Not mine, either, I think cybering is pretty cheesy in most cases, and most of the people who attempt it are quite illiterate and spell everything wrong anywho, LOL.

Yes and no. When I first started doing it, just getting online and logging in was enough to have me wet with anticipation. As time went on, of course, that reaction waned as the excitement and taboo wore off.

To be quite honest, most sex chat is horribly boring and cliche- no wonder it doesn't get women off, when it's men's fantasies and what they think women like. When talking to your average guy (or girl, for that matter), I tend to be bored with it all. But every once in a while I'll come across someone amazing, somebody who is on the same brainwaves as me, and what we write together turns me on a lot.

Don't worry about not getting excited with nudity/cybersex . . . it's just as normal a response as getting excited is.
