ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - For the second time in recent months, an employee of the national spa chain Massage LuXe has been charged with sex crimes against a patron in St. Louis County.
St. Louis County prosecutors charged Caleb Holmes on Friday with second-degree sodomy, a class D felony, and second-degree sexual abuse, a class A misdemeanor.
Court records do not show him to be in custody. A warrant has been issued for his arrest with bond set at $100,000 cash only.
Holmes, who authorities say worked at the location in Shrewsbury, is the second employee of the chain to be charged recently with sex crimes against a patron.
In October, St. Louis County prosecutors charged Jon Lindbergh with second-degree sodomy, a class D felony, and two counts of misdemeanor second-degree sexual abuse at the Kirkwood Massage Luxe location.
Lindbergh was recently released on bond and a trial date is pending.
According to a Shrewsbury Police probable cause statement, a patron told officers that on Sept. 29 she was sexually assaulted by Holmes during a massage. A second victim reported that Holmes sexually assaulted her on Oct. 5 during a massage.
Shrewsbury Police said in the statement that Holmes had been fired. First Alert 4 has reached out to the franchise requesting comment and is awaiting a response.
