It's been about 45 days since my last visit to J and J's off of Precinct Line and Glade in North Hurst.... and the last visit was a real doozie with MaiYo. I had written a few reviews on both MaiYo and Taylor when I first discovered the place, so I didn't update on every visit, but the last several visits with both MaiYo and Taylor left nothing to be desired. Lots of real fun.
So I decided it was time for a return visit today and called the number that I had always used to book appointments and got a generic "this voice mailbox is not yet set up" message. Hmmmmmm... About 15-20 minutes later I got a call back from a not so youthful sounding totally american female that said she "had missed a call on her cell and was returning it". I just told her that I must have dialed the wrong number. She hung up instantly.
I tried the number again a little later, no one answered, and I never rec'd a return call after that. Curious at this point, I drove over and saw a couple of cars out front and everything looked pretty normal, so after a few loop arounds and car change outs in the parking lot I went up and rang the bell hoping the phone thing was a fluke.
A couple of moments later the door was answered by a fully street clothed not-so-pretty asian (she was about a "3") gal who spoke almost no english. I asked if Taylor or MaiYo were available and just got a totally confused look. Then I asked if anyone was there that could take a walk-in appt, she smiled real big and nodded and said it would be apprx 20 minutes and asked me to wait. I told her I would come back, but jumped in my car and high tailed it on outtta there.
It definitely spooked me that the phone number was no longer good and then the unattractive not so young lady with much acne put the nail in the coffin for me for that place.... unless I hear something REAL different in the future.
Too bad, it was a good deal for the otherwise horrible Ft Worth area selections. I checked the Alert section to see if LE had hit the place but I haven't seen anything thus far.
