Hi there,
I'm now practicing my reflexology (currently on an AOR course) and trying to notice differences in the various reflexes. One of my relatives has hard skin on the ball of their left foot (over the lungs/heart area). She said it is really sore and you can now feel 3 hard parts underneath the hard skin itself (almost like spikes). Its very painful for her.
Now I know she is very stressed at the moment worrying about her sick daughter. And has put on alot of weight. She has a chesty cough sometimes and gets short of breath. Also feels very tired. All things stress can cause. Or possibly I suspected asthma.
But she also used to smoke for 30 years. She gave up 5 years ago. Should I be concerned about lung cancer? Or is that highly unlikely? (she has no other symptoms....ie.not losing weight or appetite)
She also suffers from eczema and I read that this can also be linked to hard skin on the lungs.
Because of the area, i'm still not 100% sure if it is over the lungs or heart. She said her blood pressure is currently fine.
So a number of possibilities! Just interested to hear what your thoughts are based on your experience?
I will work on this area throughout the treatments but any advice on other linked reflexes would be most appeciated.
Thanks! x
