Hi Ladies,
This is the first time we have stumbled upon your website and cay say it looks great and we are extremely impressed.

We are a couple looking to explore more option with out sexuality.

It's not relevant whether the client organises the booking or not.

It's all in the interpretation of Sect 229H Knowingly participating in provision of prostitution, of the Criminal Code Act 1899 (Qld).

Sect 229H states:

• (1) A person who knowingly participates, directly or indirectly, in
  the provision of prostitution by another person commits a
  crime.

What this means is that if a person does anything which enables or assists another person to provide prostitution services, they are committing an offence.

My understanding is that in the case of a "doubles" booking, each lady involved would be assisting the other to some extent.

The only exceptions I am aware of are;

when the provision of prostitution by the other person occurs at a licensed brothel and the services provided are in accordance with the brothel's licence conditions (thus allowing brothel operators and stmpf to work as such without being in violation of this Section)

and;

where the provision of prostitution does not take place at a licensed brothel,

• the participant—
  (i) is the holder of a current crowd controller’s licence under the Security Providers Act 1993; and (ii) participates in the provision of the prostitution no more than the extent necessary for providing services as a bodyguard

The government should ammend the laws so that it's crystal clear when it comes to double bookings.

The extract Reviewom the law that Raven has provided is too vague. What he has written is purely his interpretation of the law, and others may have a different interpretation.

Just to give you an example of interpretation.... Who to say that the person operating this website doesn't fall under the category of "indirectly participating in the provision of prostitution by another person" .... That is, by allowing WL's to advertise on this website and provide fees, contact details, photos, etc could be classified as 'indirectly participating in the provision of prostitution".....????

Obviously we all know that Nikki isn't doing anything illegal...but the law needs to be rewritten and not left to 'personal interpretation'...

At the end of the day 'double bookings' are not difficult to arrange if you use your common sense... You just need to be sensible on how you go about it....Discussing in on public forums isn't a good start.

The ‘Ejusdem Generis’ rule says that where there is a list of words followed by general words, then the general words are limited to the same kind of articles as the specific words. This is why allowing advertising for escorts isn't indirect provision of prostitution (among others)

Actually, the section I have highlighted above is NOT my own interpretation - it's a direct extract Reviewom the relevant legislation.

There was an element of interpretation, for the sake of brevity rather than quoting the entire section, which comprises several pages, but it is essentially as I stated previously.

To add, the following is a further extract Reviewom The Act, which gives the following examples of offences to this section:

As far as advertising prostitution is concerned, Australian Babe is an advertising medium, and advertising prostitution in itself is not illegal. All advertising carried on Australian-Babe is compliant with Sect 93 of the Prostitution Act 1999 (Qld)

All I was doing was pointing out that the law does NOT state 'bookings with two WL's is illegal, regardless of how it is organised'. If the law was clear, there wouldn't be people out there with the belief that 3sums are ok provided the client does all the organising without the WL's organising it. There is also a belief that the law is clear in regards to multiple WL's using the same premises to provide service. I wasn't giving a legal opinion. But as long as their is any debate over what is / is not illegal then the written law is open to interpretation. I have no desire to get in any argument over it, I was simply offering an opinion that it would good if the law was more defined so there was no misinterpretation.

Maybe you should try some of these activities instead of debating about them. Double bookings are a daily occurance, and you would have to be pretty dumb to find yourself in a position where you get in trouble.

The basic guidelines to organising a double booking - don't discuss it on public forums, visit a variety of WL's & use your common sense to work out whether they'd be up for it & how you'd go about organising it. There's already enough info in the ads / forums to at least help you work out who definitely wouldn't be keen to participate.

There'd be so many guys out there that could be arrested for so many WL activities they've partaken in in the past. But I'm sure you have nothing to worry about Azarel?

Yes - what you have mentioned above happens on a regular basis. However, the fact that they do happen does not mean that the illegality of these activities is diminished in any way.

If anyone wants to indulge in these activities, it's their choice to do so and they should be prepared to take personal responsibility for the consequences should they be charged.

This applies to when a WL does the organising...It doesn't refer to the scenario where a client does all the organising.
