How to Introduce a Kitten To a Cat?

I have a 3 year old female cat, so gets angry when other cats go on her land, and will fight them. We recently got a 6 week old kitten and we've had it about 2 months. Every time we let the cat in, it hisses like mad and won't stop. Its been like this for ages, ever since we got the kitten. I don't know how they will ever get along. We have tried the door method, doesn't work because the kitten wanders off. Windows we have tried. Didn't work. Sharing toys, Didn't work. Please help!
