I have noticed that a few places have raised the entrance fee from 50 to 60. While some new places are starting at 55. With still a large selection still at 50 I am left to wonder how they get away with it. I tell them flat out that 50 is the going rate and sometimes they accept other times not, for which they don't get my business. I am boycotting these places because if they get away with it there will no doubt be another increase in rates to follow!

Unfortuantely you are right and we are all to blame. In the last few months I have a particular lack of enthusiasm on the part of the MPs and a cyniscm leading to an increase in the price and a reduction in the quality of service all around. It ahs become a formula with less and less service and worse and worse massage and higher and higher prices. I am now totally disallusioned and have decided to give the hobby up for an indefinate period! Good luck to the rest of you!

The market punishes businesses that do not have repeat clients. I got sick of almost all MPs because I realized that in most cases, I was dishing out $140-$160, getting a laughable massage and a mediocre rub-n-tug. A lot of MPs have the same problems as incalls. For example, they either have tiny little rooms, crappy showers, low standards of cleanliness, and little privacy.

If you can combine the spacious accomodations of Spa Isis, with the babes at Centre Kama, the showers and cleanliness of Aromatherapy (nice shower heads that you can remove) and the mileage of Lotus along with a private greeting room where you never see other clients, all at a reasonable price, then you're in business!!!

Now, I have never visited this place, nor do I feel particularly curious to visit this place. One big drawback: no website to see the surroundings and the ladies.

For me, all of these FS massage places are like cheap incalls. They do not have a nice atmosphere or high standards of cleanliness and many of the women are exploited beyond belief. I have a fundamental problem with going to a place that abuses Eastern European, Russian or other immigrants that are struggling to make ends meat. This might be a false preconception of mine, but that is how I feel.

I guess what I am looking for is a combination of things that do not exist (see my earlier posts). My ultimate massage parlor would have beautiful women like Kim and Maya from Kama, with the comforts of Spa Isis, showers of Aromatherapy (and massage skills of Mina), and the personal touch of Lotus or my favorite masseuse Maeva of Salon d'Or, some fresh smelling towels and some private rooms so that clients do not run into their co-workers!

Maybe Eleganza should consider opening a high end spa (until 7:00 p.m.) as a warm up for the main course or perhaps some independent MPs should get together and consider taking out a small business loan to offer us this service!

There are a million salons and a million masseuses out there. Use this board wisely and it isn't that difficult to find the good ones that are worth the price. I think GG and I have the same tastes, except no, you can't have everything all at once. I go to Lotus and Isis and Kama, and usually have a very good experience, even if the rooms are too small at Kama and Lotus lacks a web site. Every once in a while I pay $140 for a lousy rub and tug, but usually I pay $140 and have a really good time.

Isis recently bumped up to $60 from $55. Lotus was at $55 last I was there. Kama is apparently still $50.

GG, I also feel like you. Those massage places where you can have a lot of mileage from russians or chinese or other immigrants make me feel so guilty. I'm afraid I contribute to slavery. Oh I know, these girl may be better off being slightly abused by nice canadians than being roughed up (or starving) in their own country. But it's still not right according to my ethic. That's why I'm more into indies. At least they control their environment. And you can get a little more intimacy, making the thing "more human".

I guess the idealism of my teens years is still there, sleeping in the back of my mind.

Sorry guys but real slavery is working at minimum wage at Wal-mart or clothes factories in east end IMHO.
Earning 80$ for ''an hour'' isn't my idea of slavery.
As a matter of fact, I'm wodering who's being really abused here.
I read many guys end up spending 140-150$ for ''an hour'' of rub and tug.
But we always have choice don't we....

What fraction of that $80 actually goes to the MPs pocket? I would guess it's very small. I wouldn't go as far as Chucky and call MPs slaves but there are many in the city that are struggling to survive and there is no doubt in my mind they are being taken advantage of, especially the Chinese, Russian and Eastern European ones. I agree with Chuky's ethical stance concerning these ladies.

They are not slaves but they are often working under enormous pressure for a fraction of what you think they are getting. As always, beautiful immigrants are being exploited because they often do not have the requisite skills to land a decent job. This is not always the case but more often than not, I am willing to bet it is.

There is a lot of room for improvement in the MP space. Kama is on the right track. Now, if they can just move to a better place...

I'm no specialist,but I think most of the times when you tip 80$,the mp gets to keep it.So please,don't ask me to sympathise whit an mp who has no remorse whatsoever in asking me 80$ for a few minutes.
She dosen't give a damn that it's about a day's worth of salary.
On top of it, she cuts the session short!(NOT ALWAYS BUT VERY OFTEN)
Most people here work under a lot of stress,not always for a lot of $$$.
Think about all those kids working in gas station and dépanneurs at minimum wages.THIS is stressful-young girl killed last week.
And another thing,I'm no Columbo,how can I tell if the mp is a ''slave'' or not?
I don't go to mp for inspection.
I go for relaxation.

Last week I called an MP on Monkland. they had rasied the price from 50 to 60. This is what prompted me to start this thread. Today I had a hunch and called them this afternoon and was quoted $43. She explained it was 7 dollar discount off the regular price until Valentines day. I asked her "wasn't the price 60?" "Yes" , she said but "they recently lowered it"

So is business slow or is this thread having an impact?

I've seen ups and downs. Kama was $45 the other day, down from the $50 quoted on their web site. I've seen them lower. Isis went from $55 to $60 recently.

Absolut Massage has a vip promotion rate, when you buy 5 sessions, you get the sixth session free, I'm talking about the entrance fee only which is $40. for 45 minutes but if you average out 6 sessions for $200. that comes to $33.33 per session for the entry fee for 45 minutes,which is much more reasonable than other massage parlours.
Then of course they have perhaps the most beautiful girl MP of any other massage parlour. Not only is Marie beautiful but she is very attentive to the service she provides. To me Marie is the greatest find. She gives the most pleasant massage & has the most beautiful body.

I have seen several massage salons that have had signs in their windows adverising $40 per hour massages. One is on Ontario street near Papineau, and the other is on St. Catherine Street near Pie IX. I have also notice this in the classified ads. (sorry, do not know that names of these places. I prefer private massages) Private massages are also offering more to entice clients to comes back, I would often pay $45 to $50 for a 1 hour massage HJ included. I have been to a few places where bonus BJs were in the price. THis is a hit and miss situation as last week I went to a place in St. Jean de Richelieu. The lady offered a 4 hands massage with BJ (or HJ if you prefer) for$50 for half hor or $80 for the hour. It was OK, her looks werein the 6/10 range.

"pick pocketing while the client is in the shower". That's a topic I haven't seen discussed around here. I believe it happened to me once at Kama by a Latin girl who worked there briefly quite a while ago. I seemed to be missing $20, but I didn't say anything because I wasn't sure. Maybe that's why she didn't last long.

It's a little harder when the shower is in the room. I've probably become too trusting, but I usually see well reviewed girls in places where repeat-business is important. And I do trust the girls I see regularly. I also don't carry much more than I expect to spend on the massage and I try to be aware of how much I have so a $20 can't go missing without my noticing.
