in all due respect I am fairly confident it was SL and Jiminy and a few other smaller spas who had it invented as they were on the admins page asking for a way to remove members that give negative feedback shortly before it became a thing. Unless you have something that says otherwise I can probably find the comment left by SL Spa on the admin thread not something from KJ even though he seems to enjoy using it just as much as them.
I think if someone is being harassed by a member such as Spawarrior or DYSE its fine and I get it but honestly the banning every single member that gives even the slightest negative feedback on your thread is such a joke and than verbally attacking them after both KJ and Jiminy do this not just one or the other, Aria spa I dont follow and cant speak on
Thanks for your sane, coherent and mature reply here.
I am unaware of the discussion on the admin page, I just recall Krayjee banning me and a slew of others then quickly taunting us and crowing about his ban skills. I think the other guys may have been slow off the mark but I could be mistaken.
I agree with your general point about the use of the ban button as first resort, and being better reserved for obvious trolls like SpaW and DYSE's various aliases, and would add socialmisfit who only trolls and can fill pages with his inane insults and serial spamming (especially when going after bowler who knows better and should be likewise banned if he rises to the bait). I think there is a level of paranoia going on between promoters. A simple IP address check would solve the problem of multiple accounts attacking rival threads. But there is a caveat.
Nasty flame-war last year around this time where the cast and crew of Bellagio took on the cast and crew of Shangri la. When I got back from overseas one owner who became collateral damage reached out to me, and I brokered a cease fire that lasted through most of the summer, although cracks appeared.
Now a krayjee led war is spreading regionally, after starting with his neighbour Best U. Nasty, nasty, nasty with accusations and slagging of the ladies occurring as often as the main protagonists. So a best defence being offence thinking has led to promoters being quick off the mark to ban.
Shangri la is not new to the game, and I am unaware of their strategy but don't think it is unique. Aria is brand new to the game, and I think that DareDevil is invested in protecting Amy's new spa; she is one of the good ones in this industry, and her spa is awesome, well rostered, and really worth a visit.
My problem here is that a weak ass krayjee fanboi is doing this to try and hurt women's businesses because another man banned him. I think a previous thread got shut down by the OP because he realized as much when the bottom of the barrel trolls showed up to share their bitterness, ill will, while trying to be heard in a wider world that genrerally ignores them.
Anyhow, thanks again for your thoughts, they uplift this discussion, and hope I have contributed in a likewise fashion here.
