Nope. but you will build up some strong quads and biceps. LOL.
Honestly, the only thing that ever hurts on me is my quads and glutes after a long day because of all the lunging, leverage and lifting. Also, I have a tear/strain of one of the ligaments in my shoulder that sometimes grumbles. My hands bother me less doing orthopedic work than doing general massage. My wrists, not at all.
I am fanatical about joint alignment though, so maybe that makes a difference.
