1.3 at other places - read the posts. 1.4 is great , 1.3 even better. I hear there is competition out there that has driven the prices down. I recall a thread long ago about "boycotting" high priced SP to drive the prices down. Hopefully these micros will have some influence on getting some of the SP prices more down to earth. Seeing a SP shouldn't cost us a car payment.

A lot of people feel the same way you do, Yuppie. I think that many out there though feel justified in paying more because they think it'll get them "better" service or that in many cases SPs feel their clientele will be of higher class if they have higher rates. Let's face it though. This is a business and when it comes down to it, 99.9% of the time, it's really just an exchange for services vs $$$...

And BTW, if any of you wanna flame me, so be it.

I am really new to this so I may not be a good representative when it comes to pricing. I think Granola is quite right that it is just an exchange for services, but the price is not always directly proportional with the service provided.

There is always great deal around: micros with good services and price is reasonable. This way the pricier sp's will just have to adjust either their pricings or their services to survive. Man, I am just a big fan of competitive economies (but wait till the government comes and unionizes it).

Expensive or not is very subjective. For those of us who have a car or a mortgage to pay off, 1.4 browns / 45 min. is still quite a luxury.

Just my 2 cents.

The whole pricing issue is a relative subject, but SP pricing may have more to do with perception rather than actual value/service. eg - do you really think that $130 BoySco shirt that was made in India is really worth $130?
