A Boone County prosecutor on Friday filed three misdemeanor charges against a 57-year-old massage therapist accused of groping a client in July.


Zequi Feng was charged with three counts of second-degree sexual abuse, a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail.


A 31-year-old woman went to Columbia police on July 11 and said she went to Relax Station, inside the Columbia Mall, three days before for a massage. She told police Feng fondled her breasts, rubbed his genitals on her head and arms through his pants and touched her vaginal area, according to a probable cause statement.


Feng would not allow the victim to get up during the massage, she told police, and kissed her neck. According to the statement, Feng followed her after she left the business and went to mall security, who confronted and identified Feng as the suspect.


Columbia police have not arrested Feng on the charges. His bond has been set at $9,000. Feng did not have an attorney listed in online court records. No one answered the business’ phone Monday morning.


Feng has moved from state to state in the past, according to the statement, and was previously issued a cease and desist order for practicing massage therapy without a license in Florida.
