Masage at Fitness weekend events

I wondered if any of you have experience in providing massages at fitness weekend events. A friend recently went on one and said there were a number of massage therapists to cater for the 250 participants. I'm thinking of approaching a them. For those who have done this type of work - what costs do you pay for? eg accomodation, transport etc. Did you go as part of a team of therapists or as an individual? Did clients pay you directly? Any info would be greatly appreciated

I am a member of Sports Therapy Organisation, they organise events massage for us, some paid some unpaid, we cover london marathon of british heart foundation and dreams come true charities, the great north run, variuos student runs, trialthlons, basically anyone who wants events massage can contact us and we arrange the final details. For some we get paid expenses such as travel/accoms and some we dont, we do all enjoy these events as we get to cathc up, have a night out and meet some great people.
it also networks your businessquite well. I have never done a fitness weekend tho' I usually attend them, like loughboro each year ,blackpool etc.
Does your professional body not do similar?
