Massage Parlours Closing

Following this pandemic will be a recession in which many businesses will close.
Massage parlours may be one of the industries hardest hit so many spas closing.
There are about 7 Asian spas at Yonge and Wellesley.
So I suspect at least one of these spas will close.
Blue Flower on Eglinton may be another casualty.
Guys keep your eyes for actual MP closing and post here

Do you mean temporarily or permanently? As I posted before, I don't believe many spa's have any cash reserves. It would be interesting to know how many MPA's are applying for the enhanced UI allowances.

Does anyone actually know about any spa's that are still open? I've had a couple offer to meet "just me" at the closed spa but of course believing you're the only one seeing them and that others aren't frequenting the closed spas with other girls.

Dont really think they are closing. Plenty of their managers and guys close to owners have often said how much $ they make. Pretty sure they are flush and sitting pretty.

mpas cannot apply for unemployment insurances as they are considered as self employed. However they can apply for other social benefits (it depends on each individual circumstances).

All depends on the spa. Some asian places get 3 to 4 customers a day. They will be hurting.

I've had same offers. You definitely won't be only one she is seeing. One of my regulars said they are spacing out appointments so no one knows what they are doing. I told her she is off my list going forward.
None of spas or mpa's should be working right now. Its just irresponsible.

I know of some spa owners and some spa girls already went back to China. There will be a shortage once it is all over cuz we might have some spas already out of business.

I thought most of these international flights are either scale down or suspended over a few weeks ago, especially those to & from China!

Some small Chinese airlines are still flying. China Eastern airline is one of them but be ready to pay crazy prices. Now China is complaining the Covid cases went up a bit the past few weeks bcuz of returning Chinese students from western countries.
They all needed to be quarantined 14 days in Beijing before going to their hometown and are required to pay 7000 RMB out of their pockets.

Yep, there will girls offering services they don't usually offer just because they need the cash. Some New girls who are desperate for cash and totally nieve about the spa business will start working too
