Pampered YOU!
I am thinking of trying a house-party model for developing clientele. Has anyone here tried this? How did you structure it? Were there any issues that made it more trouble than it is worth, or is it a great tool for getting into the community?
I was thinking something along the lines of
*12-20 guests per party
*host/ess gets 20 minutes free just for host/essing
*for each hour booked (and appointment kept) host/ess gets 20 minutes free massage
*for each gift certificate host/ess gets 20 free minutes
*for each party booked form this party (and appointment kept) host/ess gets 20 minute free
*for every _________ dollars of retail sold, hostess gets 20 minutes free
All time earned by host/ess may be issued in gift certificate form and may be used in any way that is already permissible according to my policies.
I would provide a brief personal demonstration of techniques for anyone interested, and give a brief presentation about the benefits of massage.
I operate from a position of "givers gain," and I am very familiar with both sides of the "giving it away" issue. I don't wish to debate that. What I'm looking for is feedback regarding the home party business model. I've never been in that industry, so I have a lot to learn about it.
TIA
