I just did my first "massage party" this saturday. It was a huge success. I went to the hostess's house and set my table and paraffin up in her very nice basement. Then she had sent out invites for 5 friends. Then i gave each girl a 1/2 hour massage. I let each client pick what type of massage they wanted (full body, back and shoulder, etc) and then they could also get a paraffin treatment on hands and/or feet. It went very well. Each girl new up front how much the massage was and the paraffin was. And all paid me individually. I gained potentially 5 new clients, i got 5 new email addresses for my mailing list. I brough gift certificates with me and sold 2 while i was there. The hostess had snacks and wine and music while the girls waited or was done. There are a few kinks i need to work out but it was great. I made over $300 for 4 hours. So it was totally worth it to me. I'm thinking of partnering with a mani/pedi person and possibly being able to offer that too for a whole spa party. Does anyone else do these? Thanks again.!

I am so glad this went well for you !!!!! A friend and I use to do this when we where both starting out. She did waxing and I did massages and hand and foot scrubs. The best place we did all the time was Curves
