Not at all - walk in, look around, see something that you fancy, point, and say nos vamos (lets go)- nothing to it

If you are going to be intimidated, go to one that has a large gringo cliental - that fact thet you are worried about it tells me you may need someone to hold your hand

Most of the time it's determining how much to pay and who/where to pay the MP's fixed price (pending CRT discount at like the HLH). As usual, one should have better english and should be able to fill you in and get you past that to where the language and whether you've been there before don't matter.

Procedure? Okay, let me see if I can help:

1. Enter establishment
2. Look around to see if there's somebody that looks good to you
3. If you find one, make eye contact and wave her over
4. When she comes over, say "VAMOS" (means "lets go")
5. Once you get to the room, you pay the girl first. She will levae and come back with towels, and change.
6. She will do the rest.

It's pretty much point and shoot at most MP's. Some (like HLH) have a place to sit and chat with the chicas before deciding on going to a room. But if you don't speak Spanish, most chicas at Tico MP's don't speak any English, so it won't matter anyway.
