My first AMP experience.

Browsing and I just feel curious -- how did AMPs, as a hobby, a business, a culture, start and evolve in Dallas and in the country? Does anybody know where to find a good read on this subject?

My first AMP experience was in late 90's, at Smile -- all I could recall was that smiling face on the sign. I did try a few more places in the area but were not lucky and not really into the hobby. (There's no massageplanet then ;-) and the great Internet was not that accessible anyway).

Really got hooked by the Chinese combo in 2000-2002. It was an apartment place on Coit at Beltline, the massage was top notch, therapeutic quality, and so was the the ending. The place was run by a Chinese man who was a master masseur himself. Never tried his massage, but conversed with him from time to time after a session. He sounded like a very wise man. The girl name was Lili, she was a bit taller and a tad bigger for a Chinese girl. I would not say she was pretty, but attractive. Not much conversation either, but her session is unbeatable. I spent most money I could spare there.

One day I found a note on the door saying Lili would be back in a few weeks time. Kept coming back for over a few months but never see Lili again. Many AMPs come and go since but I still miss her very much sometimes...

Hah! Would you share your personal experience? How did it all started for you?
