numb little fingers during and after!

Hi
I have one client who during th treatment and after it finds her 2 or 3 smaller fingers on both hands have gone numb. she doesnt sit on them during the treatment, and doesn't seem to happen at any specific time during the treatment that we cna pin point, so can anyone help with an idea of why this might happen?
Am trying to type up case studies (due tomorrow! HELP!!) lol, and could really do with some help as to why this is?

Have you looked into explainations with reference to the meridians that run along the fingers? The pericardium one runs along the middle finger, the triple burner along the ring finger, and the heart and small intestine along the pinkie. Numbness in these fingers might mean that the Reflexology is stimulating these pathways which may have blockages at a point below the base of the fingers?.

Other than that could there be a nervous explanation? Maybe think about which spinal nerves supply those fingers and whether the Reflexology on the spinal refelx is effecting them?

These are just guesses, what is happening is quite mysterious. Good luck with your case studies! I know how long they can take to write up!!

Maybe she is relaxing so much that the brachial nerves (lower neck) get compressed.
