Owner From Simple Scissors?

Hi everyone,

I have been browsing this site for a while and I decided to post to see if anyone could help me out. I used to visit Simple Scissors in SW Calgary for a few months before they shut down.

I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to the owner from there? I've tried finding her but I can't remember her name. Is she still operating somewhere and giving out great haircuts and massages?

Maybe not on the phone. I always see men going in and out of there and it seems odd for a place that only offers hair and esthetic services. Maybe you need to go in and inquire directly.

I remember going to her shop on 14th st one summer evening. She was cutting hair in a vest with large arm holes and low cut front and nothing else underneath. It was quite a nice view and I remember 6 guys perched on chairs against the wall watching the show and waiting their turn for the cut.

How can she be shut down if she's not offering the same services as before? No one seems to know if she's still in the biz so if she's out of the game then no worries.

I'd also like to know if she's still in business. I heard she's opening up a new place downtown somewhere and given the long hours it's open, I'm thinking she might be dabbling in the biz again. Can anyone confirm?
