Oh man. I am the opposite. I hate venturing to highway 7… the traffic and the lack of alternate transport sucks.

You mistake me, highway 7 is the demarcation between annoying and insufferable (the Mason-Dixon line so to speak...), I don't drive it.

The 407 works for east/west travel, and the main arteries north and south are usually decent. RH locals know a few side streets that get you a few kms at a time without lights when the traffic does pick up.

Ahhh I lived adjacent to Milne Conservation for 12 years. I average about 50k km of driving per year for personal use (my actual job is a desk job).. I know enough of the side routes and my average $400/month 407 bill shows I use it enough. But now I live much closer to the subway and much happier that I don’t need to use the car.. except, of course, when visiting my favourite ladies. Being stuck in York region sucks.

I get to Japan a couple of times a year now, and those weeks when I don't drive are my most relaxed. Doesn't hurt that the trains there are on time, arrival and departure to the minute, and clean and comfortable.

Right by that walking golf course under the hydro field. Good practise course for short game. Greens are tiny and need to keep shots low not to hit the hydro lines

I hit them at Markham Golf Dome on burncrest. It’s kinda dangerous as I’ve had the golf call sling back into the parking lot.

Yeah. That’s why everything along highway 7 is poop. I am glad I generally don’t have to rely on a car.
