POLL: Has anyone ever came up to you and introduced themselves?

I'm trying to get the courage to talk to this girl that I like but she doesn't know me and I don't want to be awkward. I only see her in the hallways so we don't have anything in common. :/

soo if anyone has done this to you, did you think it was weird, or did you appreciate the fact that they wanted to be friends with you?

a guy at six flags did.
I thought it was weird at first. But i thought it was sweet that he did.

Some guy did that to my friend when she was just standing aside while we were all talking and she thought it was (in her words) "really cute and sweet" until literally 10 minutes later he introduced himself to her again then she thought he was weird lol so if you do it make sure it's only ONCE.

hmm, that's never happened to me before...they usually come up to me and talk about something they've noticed around and then tell me their name

Yes, but I think it's a little outdated in my opinion.

If you want to talk to someone, it would be better if you just sparked up a conversation.
