Guys

can any one confirm a robbery that occurred at HLH last week?? the story went that a guy rented a room and he turned out to be the head guy and during the night came back with a group of guys and they sacked the place and beat up and tied up the guard. all while guests were sleeping in the hotel :shock:

stole alot of money and computors

was anyone else hurt ???

why does it seem that this place gets hit so much?? maybe Boyd can give a heads up

I don't know if this is true or not, or if HLH gets "hit so much". But if they do, it would seem obvious that it's because that's where the $ is, ie. it's a place that's known to cater to gringos, so would have more expensive computers, etc.

i would agree with you except it's something we never hear about in places such as sportsmens lodge or del rey. i am amazed at the brazenness of this. since someone has to actually show their face and plan this event. can you imagine sleeping all the while downstairs you have a gang thrashing the joint

Where did you hear about this? Did you read about it in the newspaper? If it happened last week, I'm sure it would have been talked about already. Stuff like this just doesn't stay quiet, I'm assuming this a false rumor.

In that event, I'd venture to say that the difference would be the security or lack thereof. If the story is true, that is.
