Question westend XPTT tipping

Hey west end reviewers I have a question that I wish to discuss only via private messaging due to the fact that I am able to use insurance,
I've started putting a little time into TT because of reviews here and getting a good massage is important.
The massage was covered by DB but tipping was not discussed , or even asked for, with the MT.

My problem is the tip was never even mentioned. I dropped a typical tip but the service did not fall into typical descriptions.

Imho, XP and TT are special in that I've never had anyone demand any tips. That is the original idea of tips... Customers choice, gratuity. However as an out of town client I have stuck with my favourite providers for many years. So can't comment about newer staff or changing cultures.

But over so many years, even with unique experiences in the past with masseuses like Gloria, all was positive. People like Wendy and Linda are just great people who look after their business by looking after their clients and employees

I tipped an extra $40

Probably a cheap skate but based on what was allowed (no touching) and standard HE I felt it was fair

If the place was nicer, a heated towel, flirting, etc I probably would have gone $60.

I hate the buzz-kill of stopping in the middle of a massage to talk/dicker about money and services. I think that's what sets XP/TT apart from the rest: They are "above" demeaning their clients with such talk. Sure, they probably get cheapskates who take advantage of them, but it pays off in loyal, happy clients!

The XP formula is to generate regular customers. It's a lot cheaper to retain a customer than it is to acquire a new one, something most businesses can't understand. These ladies get it. By using a "tip what you will" you do get a wider range of tips, but by accepting that, you get more $ in the long term. That place is never, ever empty. I've gone there at opening and been the first customer and when my massage is over, they're all busy. What do you hear? "Hello, good to see you again!" Yup, repeat business.

Other than tip-what-you-will, there's a few other things most places could learn:

1. I am NEVER EVER shorted time. I have occasionally left a little early as I'm time pressed, but that's my choice.
2. I have not once, not a single time, had a staff member texting during my session. I've never even seen someone's phone on them in the room. I'm the center of attention.
3. It's very, very rare that the session is interrupted. It happens, but it's unusual and always followed by an apology.
4. Consistent staffing. Yes, they have turnover, but for the type of business, the number of long term staff is astounding to me. I love that I can see someone I'm comfortable with and always gives great service.

As for $$ amount of the tip, honestly, that varies for me. It depends on who I'm seeing and honestly, how my bank account is doing at the time. $40 is standard minimum and I try for more if I can with my faves. I try to be generous around Christmas if I can.

With the XP business model, they are not missing you at all. They keep accruing new customers that become repeat customers, adding to their other long term customers. I enjoy all sorts of erotic experiences, but a high quality massage at the centre of it all is an absolute must.

Yes! I can echo you on all accounts. There have even been occasions where I have had "difficulties" and they gave me extra time without charge.
