What did he mean by this "chat up line"?

My sister went clubbing with my ex last night and loads of friends and apparently he went up to some girl and some "Hey are you a single mum, or do you want to be?" What did he mean by this?

I think he was saying "Do you want to have unprotected sex with me to get you pregnant and then leave in the morning and never call you again, and so leave you to bring up my illegitimate child on your own."

or to put it another way, "Do you want to have sex with me, even though I'm a ****.

ok, think about it. it's a joke but he's saying "i wanna shag you, even knock you up but i won't be sticking around for some sort of relationship". But does it really matter?? as with most chat up lines its a jokey, often cheeky, way of saying he wants to sleep with them. A particularly gross one there i have to say but most are usually pretty sleazy.
