What is the customer tip for one of those $60 an hour massage places?

As a Massage Therapist I've always viewed every tip as a gift, and usually it's anywhere from $5 & up, the largest so far being $250 from a regular client and since it was given around the holiday season, I viewed it more as a holiday bonus than a tip, but most commonly the gratuity is around $10 to $15.

If you are having a one hour massage, and it cost you $60, then you should tip at least $12. So twenty is just fine.

I am a massage therapist and I do charge $60 an hour, and $10-$20 is about the average tip I have recieved, although I have recieved tips from $5-$100 and regardless of the amount of the tip, it is always appreciated.

Most massage places want a 15% to 20% tip, which at 15% comes out to $9 - your $20 is more then generous.
