WHERE TO TEACH ENGLISH in Asia!?!

If you are just planning to go over to one of those cities and find a job teaching English, best of luck. As Ozgaijin and the other regulars who have responded, you will struggle to make some cash. You are better off going through the interview process at home for JETT or NOVA, and having a job waiting for you. That way your flight over there, housing, key money, etc. is all taken care of before you go. Going over cold and having to stay in a guest house sucks, because you spend so much time looking for work, and a place to live, your money can go really quickly. I think JETT pays better, at least they used to 4 or 5 years ago, but they don't cover your ticket home at the end of the contract, while NOVA does. The only problem for you is that if you go with one of the big companies, you don't really get to choose your destination. You can put down your choices, but the cities you mentioned would also be the choices for most of the other people in program who are going to the same country. Not for me either, but Im talking about it being relatively easy compared to other languages Ive tried. My Japanese isnt good but I never went to school to study it and have never studied it, I also never had a Japanese girlfriend long enough to learn from her.Considering these things I think at least for me it is relatively easy.

I agree, well paid jobs are getting harder and harder to find in Japan.Plenty of low wage jobs paying 250k yen a month, that wouldnt feed a dog in Tokyo, a decent apartment will cost 120k.I was earning 320k had a cheap apartment for 50k (It was a shithole but I was never home) and I still had to hustle for private lessons to fund my trips to Thailand and Koganecho.
China is a better deal and you dont need a degree but the language defeated me, Japanese as a spoken language is very easy, Mandarin virtually impossible to learn unless you started really young.

I don't teach English, but what I've heard is that teaching gigs in Japan are getting harder and harder. A lot of supply and waning demand, especially top-paying. Shanghai might be your place.

I am considering a trip to teach english in either China, or Japan. Places im considering are Tokyo, shanghai, Beijing…

Only because they are the biggest cities and I am assuming have the best/biggest sex trade?

I have several questions:




1) are there "TOURS" that I've heard of that take you through the red light distrikts and where to go?

2) I have read that Japan has the most abundant women. But they are only for japanese men. I am chinese, but could pass for japanese but do not speak it. Should I cross Japan off the list because of this?



Im completely lost!!!! Not sure where to go with the most abundant/cheapest/best looking girls…
