Honestly, no MP is perfect.
WHY?
Well, the first thing to remember is that MP's aren't the "real world." If you or I don't show up for half the work week or are consistently late our asses are fired. In the MP world some MPA's are very reliable, others are notorious for being the opposite.
Some of you may not know this, but in order to try and maintain SOME type of discipline many of the top spas CHARGE MPA's FINES for not showing up, or showing up late.
A few weeks ago I was talking to a receptionist at one MP about 30 minutes before shift change. In that 15 minutes, TWO MPA's called. One was going to be 2 HOURS late, the other was no showing. BOTH had clients booked at their OFFICIAL start time.
So what's the spa to do?
They can't call the client and tell him not to show up, because the MP business is anonymous. Either they hope he agrees to see another girl, or they have to somehow compensate him for lost time/aggravation. So intead of MAKING the spa $100 for 2 x appts the MPA's have COST the spa $100. Some MPA's DON'T get this, and THAT'S why they have difficulties with management.
On the other side, many CLIENTS are flakes too. Sometimes a girl can have 4 appts and 2 or 3 don't show up.
The difference between a Tier A spa like Allure and many of the smaller less known spas is that management actually gives a shit. They don't view us as walking ATM's.
If I was Brotherman I'd be upset too, but at least he's been offered an apology and an explanation. I've learned to ALWAYS call ahead and confirm my appt, unless I book during THAT SHIFT when the girl is actually there
