I think that goes with any business person though who makes a lot of money and expects the money flow to continue. 'Ahh well, I'll make it tomorrow'. Easy come easy go as they say. It is not often you will find a lady in the sex industry who is careful with their money and quite conservative. I think they have a harder time being proud of the money they make along with the assets acquired instead of feeling the slight bit of shame of how they got it. IMHO of course

That depends upon the individual lady. For me, I never felt shame personally. I feel that everyone prostitutes themselves in one way or another - Men and Women.

Two thoughts. First, five shifts per week (SRM), times six clients per shift, times $100 per client, equals $3000 per week, give or take $150,000 per year.
Not bad. Taxes? Three guesses!

Second, ten rooms times three shifts per day per room, times an average six clients per shift, times $60 room fee per client, times seven days per week, equals $75,000 per week, give or take $3.8 million per year.

Perhaps it's the owners "living off the avails" who should be feeling the shame alluded to by Kayla. Hard to think that even the ones who run good spas deserve that much reward for their "contribution" to society, let alone the ones who run a really lousy shop, as so many do.

The owners wouldn't be making that much if we didn't spend our money there. The demand is obviously there. As long as they provide a clean safe environment that doesn't get busted I'm "happy". At least we get something good out of this deal. What about all the money the Leafs make and all they provide is frustration? Then we go to our fav MPA to release some of that frustration. More power to them.

I a was dancer before becoming Indy Sp and now small growing agency. I also have a web design and hosting company. Now I am provincially incorporated and operated under an Ontario Ltd. number. I accept Credit cards have merchant and biz bank accounts. I doubt there is anyone who works harder then I, yes there are some that work as hard. I have financed my education along with my real estate portfolio (small one but will grow). Yes I pay income tax along with G.S.T.
I am not about to expose my net or gross incomes but in six almost seven yrs and if the real estate market dropped 25 % I still have a net worth of some where near 300k. So you can gage from that. I am not a gorgeous Sp the opposite little geek kid who grew up on the streets of Winnipeg in foster care etc. The minute I turned 19 I jumped on stage at the Chalet. So I think I am doing OK. I know the value of a dollar and the value of hard work to get that buck.

As Kitaa said it not what you make it is what you keep. For the record I have no shame in how I have made my money. Why? One of the oldest profession on earth if you use the Bible as a ench mark.
Not my accountant passed away I am looking for another good one have to do this yrs and last yrs taxes GST filings are to date. So if any members could suggest one, would be greatly appreciated.
