Based on the news I have read till date - if it is a proper raid (not inspection) they always arrest the customers... What happens to them post the arrest is something i dont know - would be great if someone can throw some light on it ..

The raid is usually performed after a couple of plain cloth officers capture video proofs through button cams or mobile cams by posing as customers...

Hence the western line ob guards are very particular about sizing you up and managers careful about where your mobile is...

Bhai, I have one Live example of my married friend who cought in DB raid couple of years back and then police taken him in jail.. then her family and wife released him on bail giving maximum money to save their goodwill in their families and communities and dates were going and going on.
Then from next days at his home her wife strated abusings and fightings with him on this unknown issue before saying you are cheater, basturd, faltu, nalayak, randibaaz, sex workers key Saath soneywala bevda etc etc....
So finally after four months fighting they seperetted and took divorce.
They were good life partners in their families before but after this incident they lost trust and got seperetted.
Now he has heavily drinking habits and living alone life unhappily as he lost his goodwill and life partner!!

Are DB's illegal to visit. I read the IPC act according to which throwing money and touching girls are illegal but visiting them and calling girl for dance seems ok, atleast according to the document. Although, I can understand why indian police would grab customers to get maximum amount of money but getting a name in police record could ruin whole life and family of the individual.

The cops can accuse any customer of "indecent" behaviour and arrest them on that basis. It is their word against the custoners. It is a bailable offence, but the customer will be stuck in the legal system for many years until the case is resolved.

As someone suggested ( perhaps @Mongerpleasure) , it is best to leave the bars by 11pm to avoid getting caught up in this mess while section is garam.

You are in India, everything possible. No disrespect for my country in anyways.

Just a story, I took my kids for a haircut and while returning I took a U turn which was not and held by a traffic cop. He asked me to leave the car and walk 200m to talk to his higher buddy. I said my kids are alone and I cannot. He asked my license, I gave him, he kept in his pocket and asked me to walk to his higher buddy, I got out of my car just looked near into his eyes and said in my broken Hindi give me my license else you will face consequences. I told him I broke the law but doesn't mean I will leave my kids alone and walk to your higher buddy. he was scared, he let me and we went back home.I was the hero for my kids.

Later, on one of my US trip with my family, Miami and single road I overtook two trucks together and was caught by cops. I was seating still in my driver seat answering them, they asked for documents, I took permission to open and take the documents. Seeing my Indian license they let me go with a warning without fine. Now, a zero for my kids.


Role model for the kids, kids asked me why I was quiet and asking permission to take documents. I just said depends on system of where you are.

You are in India, dance bars are between management and parties, cops play as instructed. Customers are easy victims if scared. Face them with confidence, make them take a step back. You are free. If you don't have the confidence, stay away from DB or follow the rules and if possible leave mongering.

A practice allowed by politics and cops ever and all of a sudden try to punish the citizens. Do you take us for granted. If illegal, don't allow else be considerate, this is my stance.

Not boasting, even during section garam I was sitting in VIP till morning. Not always, I get into mood only after 1.30 and when asked to leave I am upset. There are OBs who just don't disturb and let me continue but many times I leave seeing their anxiety.

Guys, I am not worried facing cops but worried someone threatening to expose me in front of family. Just be worried of getting exposed of families and nothing else.

But always be polite and gentle but stern while dealing the situation.

After four hours rigorous TT training with kids, free and drove to Kon gaon, karoke night post DB, booed by all for attempting "Mera jeevan saathi", girl from kon gain bar who was with me was embarrassed but giggled, saved my day by singing "O mere Sona re Sona re" which was cheered by all. Just chill and enjoy guys and keep the topics of raid at bay. No more action today other than this but some one there to try out new.
