What I'd like to know is what's the hold up? I read that Ontario is vaccinating 70k per day. that is so slow. In Florida they were able to vaccinate 1.5 million at just one grocery chain. Are we low on supply is it just good ol fashioned government organization skills?

I think it is a supply issue, but vaccines are coming. We are a rich country, but population-wise a small one, so we do not have the leverage the US has. Politically, to be honest I did not expect much from Doug Ford, but he is not quite the disaster I thought he would be. I give him and Trudeau "B" grades.

I plan on taking the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine sometime this summer. My logic is at that point this particular vaccine will have been tested on a lot of vulnerable people so if they are okay I have a high likelihood of not getting serious side effects. Please take the above poll.

I have some ideas for other polls, like whether an MP that claims to have vaccinated MPAs would affect your choice to visit them, or whether people believe the vaccines are vehicles to reduce the world population, etc., so please save those types for comments for later.

I am waiting for this experimental vaccine to go through all required testing. Then, I will think about taking a vaccine that does not increase my odds of surviving this Covid flu/cold

There's a lot of pain and suffering due to Covid 19, but one positive outcome is that it will cull the herd of anti-vaxxers (who are also likely Qanon and stop the steal believers).

I got my 1st dose of Moderna 3 weeks ago. I work healthcare and I'm in my late 30s. 24h soreness in the arm. My peers tell me the 2nd dose is where you may get the more severe reaction.

I'm not an antivaxxer, but I was/am very skeptical about a vaxx that was rushed in their Clinical trials/studies.

Me getting vaxxed came down to my personal idea of risk/reward and/or cost-to,-benefit ratio. I interact with many patients daily; my brother is immunocompromised and my parents are in their 80s. Although I see them both occasionally, I would never want to put them at the slightest risk, should we begin interacting again on a regular basis (and hopefully we do, soon).

Related to my view of risk/reward, my choice to get vaxxed came down to quality of my life. I may die tomorrow or today from whatever cause; maybe covid, or maybe a car accident. It's out of my control. What I do know is, the likelihood of travel and being able to enter certain local establishments and sporting events will be dictated by whether or not you were vaccinated. Being prohibited from these (personally enjoyable) events isn't a quality life for me, it'd be a shit life. So that, too, was a big factor in my decision.

Again, I can't forsee the long term effects of this vaccine (Moderna, in my case), but I was given the opportunity, so I took it rather than have to wait for my age group to get it later in the summer. In retrospect, I wish I had stored some healthy sperm away before this.

I hope you guys stay safe, as I do hope the same for your loved ones.
