In reality, higher income equates to much higher taxes and higher expenses, so my disposable income is likely not much more than most in here. That’s the sad reality. I honestly wasn’t bragging. People think I must have it made, but the reality is that a much higher income than mine is required in order to increase conspicuous consumption. My lack of apology applies only to my current position, and the work it took to achieve. Most of it was the result of opportunity that was given to me, and I readily acknowledge that. Part of success, I believe, is treating everything as an opportunity, though. I have done some jobs in the past that I don’t believe most people in here would even consider. Seeking help from the experience. When you are asked how much you want pay, would you respond with a $ amount or do you ask for the menu prices? If you respond with a $ amount, how do you know what extras you will be getting?

At the end of the day the MPA has a set asking price. It won't make a difference if the MPA tells you the asking price first or what you are willing to offer. I always set a budget. Never show you are desperate otherwise MPA will take advantage of you.

The problem is the MPA will usually quote prices that are too high because they may think you're a high roller. And I don't like negotiating because it kills the mood, that's why I'd rather just tell them a price I think it's fair and let them decide. If they don't accept, I'll just do the basic hj and not see her again. Plenty out there...

Huh... after reading a bit around here, I am kind of confused. When you say $60 room, is this the same as something like a $40 door fee? Then the $100 tip is for extra things like FS? Is there an actual tip tip? I was under the impression that $150 all-in was for room + extra, then you should tip on top of that.

Like I mentioned in the first post, the pricing I described is for "semi-legit" places. Normally at semi-legits, there is no "door fee" per se, at least not between you and the MPA. Instead, you normally pay $40 for a 30 mins massage, $50 for a 45 mins massage and $60 for a 1 hr massage (some places charge $10 less than this). The tips are on top of this and depend on what extras you get. Again, what I noted are "my" guidelines. Some guys give more than this but I don't think you have to (but you shouldn't pay less either). Also, even if you just get a massage and no extras, you should still tip around $20.

What you described (i.e. $150 plus tip on top of that) is usually for some of the more premium places, but is not applicable at your typical semi-legit place.

Oh I see... Seems cheaper at the semi-legits. How do you tell one of these from a legit place?

I did a quick search for greedy mpas and you won't be surprise to see where they coming from.
Bosses always let attendants know how much should they receive in tips depending on provide service, but it is up to you and the attendant to decide once inside the room.

Typical red alert quotes from mpa:

I don't do this to other customers
I'll give you good service if you give me ...
Next time bring more (after you paid 80 for a lackluster BS )

Most mpas know their game and know how to use it, some of them are divided between greedy, dumb, uneducated and desperate .

It all comes down to people's personalities and needs for both sides.

If they ask tooo much I just walk out the door. It is amazing how the prices come down when they see you might not stay. But at that point I usually do not stay because the service may suffer. Sometimes they even offer the $20 HJ.

I've been reading posts recently where guys are paying crazy amounts for "basic" services, such as $80 tip (i.e. on top of massage fees) for tit sucking. This is not good and ends up hurting all of us because the MPAs will start having unrealistic expectations and then slowly begin to demand more and more $$$. Let's get back on track here. I've listed below what I think are fair prices for semi-legits for 1 hr massage. I don't have pricing for fs/holistic places but those are usually quite set already. Perhaps some fs guys can chime in here.

1 hr massage + hj with "basic" extras such as outside-the-clothes touching --> $60 room + $40 tip = $100
1 hr massage + hj with "moderate" extras such as tit sucking (top off), digits, kissing --> $60 room + $50 tip = $110
1 hr massage + hj with "high" extras such as being completely naked, daty, body slide --> $60 room + $60 tip = $120
1 hr massage + the works (i.e. bj, fs) --> this one is trickier and depends on how badly you want it but I wouldn't want to pay more than $150 all-in

Again, this is for semi-legits where the MPAs have more discretion on what they want to do with you so if they do bj/fs it's either because they want big tips or they actually "like" you and don't mind doing that stuff with you. Personally, if I'm doing that stuff with my regs, I don't tip anything extra (or maybe $10-20 at most) and it's never been a problem. I also might be more easy going on the massage part but that's about it. If the room fee is less, say $50 instead of $60, I still give the same all-in amounts listed above.

Anyways, curious to know from others what they think on the tip amounts above and whether they are in line with what you give. Again, I have been to many different semi-legits and have never had an MPA give me a dirty look when I give these amounts. Let's not overpay them as it ends up hurting everyone!

Caballeros, this is a particularly informative thread which the OP kindly reminded me of. Bears review and we should refer all new queries to this. As I understand it we can segregate the market into three categories:
1) Body rubs with a high door fee that is all inclusive of services up to body slide, and may or may not allow/offer BJ/FS as extras
2) Holistic spas that are basically cheaper version of above, with separate door and in-room fees, where YMMV and TETO are strong caveats
3) Semi-legits = spas that usually only do massage, but depending on girl extras may be available. Guessing very high YMMV in this category.
There does seem to be consensus that there is some price variation depending on which part of the GTA located.
Does this seem a reasonable assessment, hermanos?

I agree with only the first one.
The rest are too low and there is no such thing as standard tipping at semi legit spas. It all depends on how the girl treats you and how you two click. Most of the semi legit girls know some guys tip better than some so you have nothing to worry about how much you want to tip as we all have different budget and financial situation. HJ, tits sucking and digits for $50 tips is a bit too low. it should be $60 and up. A decent looking girl at semi legit will never do body slide for less than 80 bucks tips unless she is fugly and old. If i get more than body slide such as DFK and more from a good looking girl with no attitude, I will tip more, a lot more.

No, you are pushing for higher and it is already too high, get it back in line........this is great. The difference besides location is CBJ vs BBJ vs FS and/or both and all depends on the room/spa fee to start as they are all not the same. There is a tier to the spa level and pricing.
