Question Has Covid-19 curtailed or halted your massage visits?

As someone who has worked for two major Canadian grocery chains, and an independent Alberta one, I would like to give a shout-out to those that put Seniors first!:

It was nice that they put profits aside and
Have been opening their doors to only them, and restricting access for the first few hours, while they shopped for what they need....what has been near impossible for them to get, with hoarders being there....lining up every morning. And, if I understand correctly...extended the Senior's discount. (Even saw this at my nearby Shopper's Drug Mart.)

If any of us (or family members), were able to stock up, lets check on our neighbors.
If anything...this crisis is going to bring us closer together....in Canada, and perhaps with the rest of the world.

Seen myself a great video of a guy taking an empty TP role, shoving it on the handle of a screwdriver, putting the other end in his drill. And “re-aquiring” TP from his work bathroom. (Or gas station bathroom)

Update on the toilet paper situation - I was able to get some at a Walmart today, it was a limit of one per customer so I bought the biggest pack they had. I should be good for a long long time now.

Centre for Disease Control have more credibility than the "dipshit" above and therefore I trust them more than the "dipshit"above (who just won an 'ignore').
A barrage of name calling to actual facts (like them or not) makes more of a statement about him than it does about me LOL.

Thank you. I appreciate that attitude as opposed to the "self centred pricks" who keep saying this is all blown out of proportion.

Although my heart has been, to continue supporting these ladies....many of which likely won't survive financially....I am leaning towards staying away anyways. Physical life is always more important than the financial one.

I am trying to take it real easy at work...as not to strain myself, and need the ladies' great massages.

Perhaps, we could all, choose two of our favorite ladies, or one of our favorite places, and drop off some gift cards for groceries. Or, if finances allow it... (as others have already done)...prebuy massage packages.

Although, my heart may be in the right place....going for massages right now, with no ability to "social distance"...may make me look like a "dipshit"...or worse...."a self centred prick". I don't think my self esteem, could handle a "barrage of name calling."

Purely out of boredom, scanned Kijiji and see which spa advertised within the last 24 hours. Top1 just closed. A few indies, Audrey, Brittany and Melissa who I do not recognize. Then there is Laura, Delsol, 96St. place and Meridian (posting as Lala). And of course Bex, which I have no idea why they would advertise on Kijiji, didn't think Kijiji readers are the right clienteles for Bex. Looks like most have voluntarily closed down.

NHL is making plans to run July and August. Good news that maybe big business will prevail and start the world turning again. Daily Alberta Covid Health updates fail to announce numbers of people and age groups of people hospitalized or dead from covid stress, starvation, or hardship. Blue collar North Americans can go to homes and buy food but many are pushed over the edge.
