If spas become aware that one of their MPAs tests positive for covid I believe they the spa would have to share information with Toronto Public Health, including the cell number of all clients who saw the MPA during a certain time frame (I'm not 100% sure where the goal posts are for time line, but one reasonable time line could be anyone that saw the MPA during the 10 days prior to the positive result). Premier requires legitimate cell phone numbers prior to booking although I'm sure there are ways around that (burner phone etc). Still, it makes me a little uncomfortable. One question I have is whether an MPA is compelled to tell the spa if they test positive. I expect some may not formally confirm a positive result with management but would still 'do the right thing' and not come into work for 10 days. It's difficult to say. But the point there is there could be covid exposure taking place in spas and I think it's crazy that the government does not mandate double vaccination for MPAs
