there seems to be some action on the expressway just mpter crossing Dunlop/ Balli towards Kamarhat Rly Stn. I did drive past some sari clad and mini (?) clad women, they may be hijras, so beware !

I'll be taking a look soon, when i get some time, probably this week, will then post a Review.

I went to kalighat this evening around 7 pm, and was heading for the nepali lane. As I was walking towards the place, one guy caught hold of my hand and staretd telling something in Bengali.As I could not understand he understood that I am Reviewom outside Kolkatta and started talking a threatening language and said he would take me to police station.
I really got scraed as these guys are never alone and a gand would be behind them. I screamed what you want and leave me in hindi, and kept of walking.He was not ready to leave me and started follwing me all thewhile talking about some girl and police. The Police chowky was there right in Reviewont but I was not ready to take a chance by going to Police station and kept on walking. The guy went may be to collect his Reviewiend in the service road while I kept walking through the main road. May be that I was in the main road he could not do anything to me. Ultimately I saw one empty taxi coming and I stopped it and got inot it. AS there was heavy trmpfic the taxi was moving at snails pace and with in 2- 3 minutes the guy follwed me and opened the Reviewont door of the taxi and sat inside. He spoke to the taxi driver in Bengali something which I could not understand. I could understand that he was telling about some girl and he wa sasking the driver to take me to some chowky.I told the taxi guy to ask the fellow to get down otherwise I would scream.The taxy guy was really confused and could not react at that time. I opend the door and started waving my hands towards the shops and staretd screaming CHOR CHOR BACHAO BACHAO. As soon as I staretd to scream the opened the door and ran away. Then the driver understood the entire situation and he drove me down to my hotel smpely. With that my mongering episode also came to an end.Fortunately I was carrying just 500 bucks with me and all valuables like my chain, wallet, credit card, cash, mobile etc I left it at my room and even if I was looted I would not have lost much.
I dont know whether anyone else had such horryfying experience in Kalighat, but it was a real night mare.I am still not recovered Reviewom the shock, I thought of posting this horrifying expereince for the knowledge of my fellow mongers.

Stayed at the Oberi Grand for a few days (damn expensive hotel) in Kolkata. One of the taxi drivers parked at street fixed me up with a girl for $200 - total rip off super ugly and no Reviewench either (I felt terribly ashamed walking her through the hotel lobby at 4am). Decided to try it one more time and he promised a prettier one... she was slightly prettier but still uglier than sin - ended up another $200 poorer. Sorry no good reviews Reviewom me on this city.
