After the 14 days of isolation, my groceries will be running thin, I will go to a grocery store and I will stay 2 m , 6 feet away from anyone , I will tap my Visa and I will use alcohol soaked wipes when I leave and get back in my car to wipe down the door handles, steering wheel and anything else I might have touched. I will wash my hands as soon as I get home and I will not touch my face at any time, except to shave after my morning shower. As business is in the dumpster anyway, I will go for isolated walks, read, keep up on line and stay home until this thing is well under control

Most of them rent not own. Their Mercedes and Beemers are either owned but are 10 years old or newer and leased. And I am still amazed at how many don’t have a car at all. Either they don’t make as much as we think or they squander it.

I used to have a regular who was pulling in $1000 or more a week in cash, lived in subsidized housing with her family so didn’t even pay rent, was not in school, and was always asking me for money because She never had any for her car payments or to buy gas to fill her car.

They all say saving to go back to school, buy a house etc, and I am sure some of them do but I have not met her yet.

Lots of dollar stores now carry canned foods, breads, jam and peanut butter and all plus some first aids necessities and over the counter medications such as Advil and Tylenols.

I agree dollars should be closed. Keep gorcery and pharmacies open. If you want to do a real locked down. The infection rate gets bad enough they will have to go this route anyway.

Well said. However the cost of living is expensive in Toronto. A lot of us are living pay cheque to pay cheque. The minium wage hasnt kept up with inflation
