With the number of times I've been to Muse, it's no secret that I agree with you. Maya doesn't make me blush any more. I've seen her often enough that I'm more than comfortable with her. Maybe too comfortable.
The way I read d_jedi's comment about avoiding YMMV was that he is looking for a sure thing. And that usually implies extra extras that you have to earn or work up to.
My suggestion was that he see an SP so he knows what he'll get before he even gets there.

I saw Talia again today. There is something extremely captivating about this young lady. Amazing smile, outstanding body, all with a GND attitude. Terrific.

I'm really not looking for extras (though if offered, I'd most likely gladly partake).
What I *don't* want is a sub-par experience where I find that I "missed out" on what would be considered normal, par-for-the-course activities because the girl I'm with was having a bad day, didn't find me attractive, or because I didn't initiate, etc.

My understanding is some girls are more prone to that behaviour than others - and this applies to both MPAs as well as SPs.. and those are the types I'd prefer to avoid at this point (ie. say girl A provides service ranging from poor->amazing depending on how you click, vs. girl B who consistently provides very good, but not amazing, service.. I'd rather go with girl B at this point)

Hmm.. so tempting, so many girls.. I'll probably end up seeing a bunch, in time. But I think I'm going to go with Brooklyn (as soon as the scheduling works out), as she seems to be consistently well-reviewed on this board. Now the only question is whether I get my feet wet with just a "basic" session or dive in head first with a body slide (I think most massageplanet.netites would recommend the latter..). And whether 30 minutes would be enough, or if I ought to go longer (I'm not sure I'd last that long :-> )..

Go for the body slide.
IMHO, 30 minutes isn't enough time to establish any real chemistry with the lady, especially if you've never met her before. Don't worry about lasting, tell her you'd like to last the full 45 minutes or hour and she'll time things for you. A little extra teasing here and there and the time will fly right by. Or ask for two shots on goal, one right out of the gate and one near the end.
The understood rates are the same as places who publish their rates. I'll have to let you do a bit of digging on your own for this. But remember, the ladies always appreciate generous tips.
As for my slide suit and body slide outfit comments. LOL These would both be the same as the young ladies' birthday suits. My euphemistic way of sayng that she gets naked.

Well, I need to start somewhere, don't I? As to why I chose Muse, a few reasons:
1) I don't have access to a reliable vehicle at the moment (long story..), so I'd prefer to keep my hobbying in the city of Toronto, which would rule out Allure/SRM/HFH for the time being (although I very seriously considered visiting SRM when I worked in that area.. it never happened because of personal circumstances..)
2) S9 seems mostly Asian, not really into that (unless the girl is North American born.. I really don't want someone who's recently arrived here and has a poor command of the English language..)
3) Plats would be an option.. but I never really considered that one. Also, doesn't seem to be too many reviews of their girls on here for some reason..
4) I visited the Muse booth at the everything to do with sex show, and that really persuaded me to give them a try..

As for prices.. I did a bit of research looking at a few MPs outside Toronto (where they can publish these things..). I'm confused as to why there seems to be a bigger jump in price from 45->60 minutes than 30->45 at places like SRM/HFH/Allure (is Muse the same way?)?

There have been whole threads about this. Discussions about how long it takes to prepare a room between sessions, how long a session gives you the best bang for your buck, etc.
Most of the rates are similar everywhere, so what you've seen should serve as a guideline.

I've been with Veronica, Jasmine, Sadie, and April. They are all very pretty and true to the pics. I've been partial to Sadie and April though. Sadie is a very sweet GND who made me feel very comfortable and gave a wonderful message (soft the way I like it) and was pleasant to speak to. April has a wild side that works well for me, too. She really has a way to read my kinky mind... They're both cute, fun, and make me feel like a king when I leave.

Everyone at muse is great, ive been there a couple times, never had a bad session. Nyla is very cute and playful, i had her recently. everyones taste varies. the location is discreet and the unit is clean.The price is reasonable and girls are all friendly. I recommend to go when they have a mixer. then you will know who you like the most.
