Almost every sex-worker I meet, at some point, talks about how important money is to her. She talks about how she needs to do 'this job' to make money. She talks about how money pays for things in life and that she needs to save her money in order to afford the things she wants. To draw a parallel, it wouldn't be wise for a car salesman who sells MB to tell his cleints that he is unwilling to buy a MB and that he wants to save his money and buy a less expensive car. I totally agree with you. These girls should not be talking about money with their clients and rubbing it in their faces. What they are saying in effect is, "you're making me rich".
