Anyone else experience this? I just tried to book with them and sent over a nonrefundable etransfer deposit of $70. They accepted it...and then called me and told me to send a pic of myself holding up my ID. I wouldn't have went with this agency if I knew that they needed ID...anyone have any solutions? Or do I pretend that I threw $70 into the ocean?

not sure how showing an ID would make them more protected in this situation...but OK. I guess new customers considering TGF should beware. Kind of a scummy business practice asking me for ID AFTER I paid the deposit.

I agree, but they should be upfront about the ID requirement....BEFORE you send EMT.

The owner is a filthy cunt, part with the Caucasian agency owners’ running the syndicate downtown Toronto.

Typically, they want a full name, picture, and date of birth. You can hide the important numbers and stuff or block it with a photo editor.

The other board has a guy openly flaunting about getting another number and supposedly booking with an agency after they blacklisted him, so it’s people like that who are forcing these more extreme measures from agencies. Frankly, I don’t even like to call and talk to people - even as a first time, but the better agencies will ask for that.

Tell them no and ask for your money back. Stop being a pussy. Or send a photoshop.

I trust an indie SW over an agency, especially one as disliked by SPs as TGF, in this context. There's no recourse if they decide to misuse the info they get from a client or if the device they store it gets compromised.

UPDATE: Got my money back (seems like my bank or some sort of error saved me) as the auto deposit for the dude didn't work and I put a password on it. Still doesn't change the fact that he refused to give the money (that he THOUGHT he took) back in the first place though. Buyer beware.

The red board is in bed with all paying advertisers. They will ban you for every little thing if you attack any agency. I had a run in with the same owner of this agency in my SP days. The guy is not a decent guy. I got banned for calling him a low life pimp.

LOL... Red board is a joke. I got banned so many times for small things. I got banned for posting I got FS at a massage parlor. I got banned for attacking nasty agency owners like Steve of TO agency and TGF. I got banned for revealing how dirty Japanese Emily of a well known agency was.
