More and more western men are rejecting western women. That is a fact. There is a definite trend towards interracial marriages in the west. Predominantly between white men / asian women and black men / asian and white women. But the white man and his asian wife is the highest growth in interracial marriages.

But these are just my opinions, based on fact and perceptions.

It's irritating to most of the board members also.

I think that you'll find, that most of the seasoned BM's are quite at ease with women of all nationalities. And you'll not be disrespected, by most here.

Once in a while, you'll see a posting (such as here), by some young pup...who is boasting his latest conquest's, and berating farang women.

He's just a (tad) immature, short on class, and lacking in finesse. Hopefully in time...he'll either grow up, or shut up!

If you read his post's, they are almost always aneforum.xxxonistic, and argumentative. Just a little boy, trying to sound like a big boy.

I agree their tactics are somewhat crude or at least that the approach was kind of abrasive, but their motivation for being/posting on the board at this point is the question? Maybe not too different from our own. But, like I have said, we all post for different reasons and let's not forget that the audience is far greater than those who post (perhaps 10X times).

I am trying to understand these folks and their points. They (and I hate to group two people into a lump) made a couple of good (and bad) points in this thread and others that I have seen. That is the main reason I like to log in... to hear good points. I can easily forget the rest of their posts or opinions...

Whenever I read a post, I attempt to project myself into their shoes, and try to keep things in a proper perspective and what motivates them to post. Maybe others should as well if they can... Crikey... I'm starting to sound a bit JayBeeish. h:

BTW, I hope you had a nice trip and got everything sorted that you needed to... the picture(s) I have seen say you did... and I still owe you a couple of beers IIRC... :aww:

Yeah I know there are quite a few sensible people here and it's only a few that get out of hand and they're usually the most vocal ones. I wasn't just talking about So-Cal, there are others, but yep, So-Cal is quite astonishingly bitter for a young lad... good luck to the Thai ladies with that one.

Personally... I really don't give a crap if someone likes Thai girls better, that's their business. But I guess it gets my back up when it gets to all this "my way is the only way" bullsh*t. Some people like small-framed Asian girls, others prefer tall blondes, some are even chubby-chasers. Just the way it goes.

I don't post much, although I've been reading these forums for a LONG time.

All I will say is I have learned so much from these forums and having only been to Phuket 5 times each time has been so much more enriched by learning from the 'veterans' here.

I have moderated on boards where things turned pear shaped due to differing opinions getting out of hand, mainly to due ego and pride. I would never ask anyone to not offer an opinion, merely to keep in mind what this board is about for so many people, ie the chance to learn more about and share the experience of a wonderful place. Having never met any of you I still feel in debt to the countless posts detailing things about LOS and 'how things work' in Thailand compared to western society. Before the slanging matches ensue maybe think about the newbie who've you may not realise you've done so much for already..... and the countless newbie's who's experience in Thailand will be so much better because they visited this board.

Anyway back to the topic, for me.... it's all about the individual. Some farang women are beautiful people who'd I'd be happy to spend time with, others not. Same goes for the lbfm's - some I'd be happy to spend time with, others not.

I never said you mentioned wisdom, thats my own input from the implications of your comment, I am allowed my own input right? But as you say some people can go to Thailand a few times and get whats going on, others can go 1,000's times and still not be able to give good advice.

So age, number of visits or time on the forum or number of posts are all irrelevant when it comes to having a valid opinion. But some people like to have a rank or pecking order based on something like this. But in the end we are all just individuals, we can listen, learn, analysis and decide what comments we agree with or don't.

I take all comments at face value and go from there. The true Thailand experience for So-cal might not be the true one for the next man. He can offer insight into what it is he likes or dislikes etc. But ultimately he can only present his veiws from his own prospective, the rest of us can just take them or leave them.

Just the way I see things.
